What Is Buccaneer Baseball?
An after-school program designed to teach the integrity of the game of baseball and to help students understand the greatness of the game while learning life lessons associated with baseball. Instruction will enhance a student’s talent on the field, provide a fun, learning atmosphere, and will include lessons on the fundamentals of baseball. Sessions will include instruction on fielding, throwing, running, hitting (if possible), and plyometrics.
Buccaneer Baseball provides players of all ages with an incredible range of stimulating and creative drills & skills. Provided is an awesome program for all our players, no matter their interests or level of experience.
Buccaneer Baseball is led by Kevin Johnson, Assistant Principal at Mt. Bethel Elementary! Mr. Johnson was previously the Head Pitching Coach for Walton High School's Baseball program, where his staffs consistently ranked at or near the top of the state in many pitching categories. Mr. Johnson was awarded the 2015 Cliff Shelton Assistant Coach Of The Year Award, presented by the Georgia Dugout Club, for helping to lead the Walton Raiders to back-to-back state championship appearances. Mr. Johnson is looking forward to working with your player and making him or her the absolute best player they can be!

Focus On The Details Of The Game And Receive Specialized Instruction To Take Their Ability To The Next Level
All Cobb County School District student conduct policies, as described in the student handbook, apply to students while participating in MBESF FACT Programs. Inappropriate behavior may result in student's suspension or withdrawal from FACT programs. No refunds of FACT registration fees will be provided if a student is withdrawn from FACT for violations of the student code of conduct. Students will automatically be sent to ASP if they are not picked up within 10 minutes of the end of their FACT club.
To facilitate a smooth transition from classrooms or ASP to FACT clubs:
All students must use the new Mt. Bethel Transportation Change & Student Bus Pass form to indicate that the student is attending a FACT club for the first week of clubs .
Kindergartners participating in FACT Clubs MUST bring in this form on each day they are attending a FACT Club through last day of FACT clubs.
Refunds are available until January 31st, 2020. After that date, refunds will not be available.
