What Is Balling Buccaneers?
An after-school program designed to teach the fundamentals of various sports and to help students understand the greatness of these games while learning life lessons associated with each sport. Instruction will enhance a student’s talent, provide a fun, learning atmosphere, and will include lessons on the fundamentals of each sport. Sports include Baseball, Basketball, Touch Football, and Kickball.
The Program
Balling Buccaneeers provides players of all ages with an incredible range of stimulating and creative drills & skills in an array of sports. Provided is an awesome program for all our players, no matter their interests or level of experience. Balling Buccaneers will consist of instruction, practice, and cooperative games in the areas of Baseball, Basketball, Touch Football, and Kickball. All students are welcome!
Balling Buccaneers is led by Kevin Johnson, Assistant Principal at Mt. Bethel Elementary! Mr. Johnson was previously the Head Pitching Coach for Walton High School's Baseball program. Mr. Johnson was awarded the 2015 Cliff Shelton Assistant Coach Of The Year Award, presented by the Georgia Dugout Club, for helping to lead the Walton Raiders to back-to-back state championship appearances. Mr. Johnson is looking forward to working with your child and making him or her the absolute best player they can be!

Policies
Conduct
All Cobb County School District student conduct policies, as described in the student handbook, apply to students while participating in MBESF FACT Programs. Inappropriate behavior may result in student's suspension or withdrawal from FACT programs. No refunds of FACT registration fees will be provided if a student is withdrawn from FACT for violations of the student code of conduct. Students will automatically be sent to ASP if they are not picked up within 10 minutes of the end of their FACT club.
Transportation
To facilitate a smooth transition from classrooms or ASP to FACT clubs:

All students must use the Mt. Bethel Transportation Change & Student Bus Pass form to indicate that the student is attending a FACT club for the first week of clubs .

Kindergartners participating in FACT Clubs MUST bring in this form on each day they are attending a FACT Club through last day of FACT clubs.
Refund
Refunds are available until February 3rd, 2023. After that date, refunds will not be available.
